I met Suzy, owner of Hip Mountain Mama, two years ago this month on Twitter. It happened to be right around the time when I was launching the first session of my e-course Inside Out. Suzy signed up for the first course, sent out tweets and I think even blogged about it. And I believe her interest, enthusiasm and support is what helped me sell out my first class! Since then, she continues to share her excitement for the course and I'm so grateful.
So, today I thank YOU, Suzy, for supporting my dream. When I introduced Inside Out I was nervous and unsure. I told myself if I got at least 10 people to register that I would hold the class. And I truly believe that with your initial support, you helped my registration numbers jump WAY beyond my expectations. You helped me build the courage, excitement and dedication to continue sharing this e-course with the world, and after 5 sessions, the course has reached hundreds in over 15 countries.
THANK YOU for your positive energy. THANK YOU for your love and care. And THANK YOU for believing in me!

Your Personal Reflection: Who will you thank today? What are you thankful for in this moment?
(I'll announce a winner on Sunday morning!)
I love the items at Hip Mountain Mama - especially the bags and the clothes - they are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteToday, so far I am having a hard time feeling thankful. My boys are sick, again, which means no school, again, which means another lost day of work for me. So I am feeling pretty discouraged. But, some small things I can choose to be thankful for right now are: the sweetness of hearing them say "I love you", and tucking them in tight in their beds. Also, the few bright golden yellow trees I can see across the field through the window from where I am sitting.
I was stopping by your blog this morning to grab a link and imagine my surprise to see me being thanked today! Your words brought tears to my eyes and I am so happy to be a part of your world! You are such an inspiration to me and I am thrilled that our paths crossed! Thanks for all you do and for being you!!
ReplyDeleteToday I will thank my husband for being an amazing partner to me and father to our son. Our relationship is still young in the grand scheme of things. The learning is sometimes hard but the loving always comes easy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the continued inspiration Shannon!!
ReplyDeleteToday I am thankful for the bond my daughters have. Each morning they wake up together in their shared bedroom and almost instantly begin laughing and playing together. They are best, best friends and they share something only sisters can. I lost my younger sister eight years ago, and the times like this we shared as kids mean the world to me, so I am so thankful that my girls are creating these memories and bonds with each other.
Today I'm thanking my friend, Monica, who constantly encourages me to get creative, do art with her, and inspires me to follow my passion by allowing me to re-organize and re-decorate her house!
ReplyDeleteI will thank my mom today- for all that she does and all the she is in my life and in my daughters life. She is wonderful!! As as for this moment I am thankful for my daughter- she makes everyday brighter and happier from the moment we wake in the morning!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my husband. He has supported me and encouraged me to follow my heart and dreams. Helped budget in money for classes and let me pratice my reiki on him. He is amazing and wonderful. =)
ReplyDeleteI want to thank my husband who always supports my dreams and encourages me to be totally myself.
ReplyDeleteIn this moment I'm thankful for the support of family and friends as I transition into a new phase of my life.
ReplyDeleteI am thanking my husband today too. Wrote him a thank you note, as "words of affirmation" are his love language. He's my rock!
ReplyDeleteToday I thanked my insurance man! We are refinancing and the bank has us jump through all kinds of hoops. I had to talk with the insurance man today and since I don't know the first thing about insurance, it took awhile. He was extremely helpful and nice. I thanked him and have plans on a pie in his near future.xx
ReplyDeleteToday I thanked someone who probably doesn't receive many thanks: the woman who works in accounts receivable at the hospital. About two years ago, my daughter needed an emergency appendectomy. Her appendix ended up being 4 times larger than what it should have been. The health insurance policy I have is horrible and has a very high deductible for each person. Needless to say, the majority of her surgery needed to be paid out of pocket. The hospital was gracious enough to lower the payments even below what they normally require so I could afford to pay them back...all at no interest! So today I called to thank her as I was paying the bill. After today's payment...there will only be 2 more left. This will be such a tremendous relief and burden lifted. She was surprised to be thanked, yet happy to know it made a significant difference.
ReplyDeleteI am going to thank my husband for bringing home dinner tonight. It was a VERY helpful gesture!!
ReplyDeletethe blog world is so wonderful...i love all the thankful themed events happening!
ReplyDeletei'm so thankful for this wonderful blog and you taking the time to write and share. i'm also thankful for new opportunities and the chance to just be me!
ReplyDeleteI am reading this from my phone, after having just been through a biopsy. A single mom of two school age children, I have one hour to process through the pain before I pick the children up from school and we have an entire weekend to enjoy together. I am thankful for my children and the joy of mothering them as well as the love and practical support of our friends that allow me to continue to create and thrive despite the fact that I am ill.
ReplyDeleteyour thank you to suzy was so sweet, i just love this idea. i said thank you a few times today, i think my husband and i say it to each other all through a day. :)
ReplyDeletebut i said thank you most sincerly to my sister because she did so much for our mothers memorial, which is tomorrow. she is an angel and i don't know what i'd do without her.
