Your Personal Reflection: How do you capture your memories?
Those are too darn cute and hilarious. What a great way to keep those sayings. I have been writing them down in my calendar, but art journaling much more fun! Be well, Angela
ReplyDeletePS I adore Rhythm of the Home and I look forward to reading your piece and using your tips. ;)
Great article! I have had so many of those wonderful and spontaneous moments. I always think, "I'll have to write that down sometime." Silly me! Waiting does not allow the time to magically appear and it certainly doesn't help this mom's brain to remember the moments or words. Write them now! Before you forget ;0)
ReplyDeleteI loved your article. Yours is a more artistic twist on my own mama journal. Lovely!

What a fantastic idea!
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful Shannon. Now, as a grandmother, I still like writing down those funny comments. Like...."Why doesn't cooper wear shoes?" (my dog!) I started a "Nana" journal book. And, so it goes.....
ReplyDeletesuch a great idea! I do write down memorable lines but not in such a pretty way.
ReplyDeleteShannon, it was such an honor to have you join us for Rhythm of The Home. You brought an incredible sense of joy and fun to mamas and families who want to remember all the magic moments that their child's lives will bring. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThey are hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd journaled my kids cute thoughts and sayings. My boy turned 19 today so I just have to rely on my memories.
This is such a great idea. The other day my son said about my daughter who was crying in the back seat, "She wasn't crying because the sun was in her eyes, she was crying because she wanted to be in the shade." I just thought that was so sweet. This art journal is a perfect idea for these type of things. Many thanks!!
ReplyDeletei do the facebook thing too! i love your rhythm of the home contribution, and thank you for sharing your nursing story too! you've totally inspired me!
ReplyDeleteGlad you all liked the journaling piece in Rhythm of the Home magazine. There is such great inspiration over there! Feel free to share some of the funny things your kids say anytime. I just love it.
