Trisha...
you are the winner (of the random drawing)
for the first spot in my new
Mothering with heART e-course!
And if you leave a comment by 8 p.m. (US Central Time) Sunday, you will have a chance at winning a spot in Amelia's upcoming Experimental Art E-course! It is a wonderful, awesome, inspiring experience (I've taken it twice!) and you won't want to miss this opportunity. (The course starts this Monday.)
Your Personal Reflection: When is the last time you tried something new?
Today! I am almost constantly creating new foods and trying them. We had a pasta casserole tonight that had a basil base mixed with tomato sauce. The boys even liked it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Trisha!

ReplyDeleteI don't know about trying something new but hubbie & I celebrated our 10th Wedding anniversary Thursday and we spent a couple of days in West Cornwall trying out new places. We wandered around the gorgeous region stopping at little cafes, mini museums, craft and art studios tucked away in remote beautiful places as well as going into the busier St Ives. We love to find new undiscovered places. It was a lovely romantic way to spend time together and celebrate.

oh cool! another fun opportunity! please enter me!
ReplyDeletethe last time I did something new was just the other day - i had to call my tenants and confront them about some police issues. it was really hard and scary - but i felt empowered afterward.
This morning!... It was pouring down with rain, as soon as it eased up, my son and I put on our waterproofs and headed outside to jump in the puddles! Splish, splash, SPLOSH! We ended up at a nearby park where some children were playing on the zip swing, which had an gigantic puddle underneath it. They looked like they were having tremendous fun, kicking their feet in the water, virtually sitting in the pool, that I thought, well, why not! My new thing for the day! Plus Little Bean thought it was fantastic, bouncing up and down with joy at his Mummy! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea, experimental art ...sounds like the leap I need to get back into creating...not to mention a distraction from my pregnancy nausea.
ReplyDeletetried something new tonight when my daughter was having hard time calming down before bed. No power plays I just asked her if she was done having her bad moment so I could hug her and tuck her in. She said "I don't know." I told her that is okay-that is an honest answer and then just hugged her and had her breathe. Totally deflated the moment and it was really okay for us both. Trusted that inner voice and it worked.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win the spot!
