Taking care of my kids and spending time with them is more important than anything, so I actually wouldn't change a thing. :) Your flowers smell lovely. xoxoxoBella Sinclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02139728758198482234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2836126043167419098.post-21996243233255297832011-05-05T08:39:58.020-05:002011-05-05T08:39:58.020-05:00Emmanuelle,

YES...that's being in the flow. Thanks for sharing.

Willows Nest,
Little steps each day helps me so much, too! Ahhhhh....

Kat,
It's easy to get bogged down by mental clutter, especially when we aren't feeling well. You do amazingly well and I send you lots of healthy thoughts as you build back your strength. xo

WrightStuff,
Thanks for sharing - I just love when I read something at the "right" or needed moment.

Angela,
Thanks, I had fun taking those photos at a recent visit to a petting zoo in our area. The best thing I have found for releasing mental clutter is to find stillness - quiet time in our day to get a break from the external distractions AND to write. Do you journal? It might help to get the words out of your head and give them a place to go.

Anushka,
I'm with you! I am definitely happiest and more "free spiritied" when I'm in the moment and not letting my mind get in the way. Kids can definitely help remind us of the joy that comes from being in the moment!

I appreciate each of you.Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03853237423923378851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2836126043167419098.post-66659743298227796672011-05-05T00:51:05.939-05:002011-05-05T00:51:05.939-05:00beautiful photos and beautiful words. i am always...beautiful photos and beautiful words. i am always happiest when i am in the moment. it's so much easier to see the good in life than to complain about the things we think should be different.nunuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07851494771560597816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2836126043167419098.post-86170696273192686882011-05-04T16:39:06.888-05:002011-05-04T16:39:06.888-05:00So wise Shannon. I think I have enough to sell (not that anyone should want it). The photos and your post are amazing.

The personal reflection really opened my eyes-something's astirring! :)Angelahttp://www.peachcoglo.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2836126043167419098.post-82124224412357304232011-05-04T16:33:26.161-05:002011-05-04T16:33:26.161-05:00I needed to read that today! I've been doubting and worrying. Both of which I know to be a harmful waste of time. Yet sometimes we find ourselves doing both. For me the last few days have been too hospital/doctor/health and practical chores orientated and I know I need to balance it with extra creative time and a bit of meditation.

Hugs
Kat XKat Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14176200521240664479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2836126043167419098.post-73724593690853277622011-05-04T13:34:22.667-05:002011-05-04T13:34:22.667-05:00ooohhh.. yes sure can relate to this one.. sigh......ooohhh.. yes sure can relate to this one.. sigh.....little steps..little steps... hehe great post!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08875387552555673761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2836126043167419098.post-10234434176713048932011-05-04T11:49:15.941-05:002011-05-04T11:49:15.941-05:00Shannon I loooove this post, really. I'm finding myself caught also in the clutter, having thousands of ideas of what to do at the same time and trying to act on them all in case I forget, you know...
But I am learning to stop and breathe, because no, I can't do it all.
I am learning patience, and what I am called to do is presenting itself naturally. I have to give my ideas time to grow, blossom or even die for some of them.
And now I shall sign off and work on my YTT final essay, which was the plan for today :DEmmanuellehttp://www.plansonacomet.comnoreply@blogger.com
