Again, I am so glad that I found both of you...Yay! Again, I am so glad that I found both of you! I feel like I could have written this...so much of what Kelly said made me nod my head in agreement and connection. Reflection is something I've found that just comes naturally for me. For years and years...as long as I've been able to write...I've kept journals that are filled with lists from my day, thoughts about my life, goals, dreams, and questions. My blog, Runninghood, has also been a creative outlet for me to get more in touch with my true self. It is refreshing how honest, raw, and candid I can be. And I've discovered how very powerful it can be to put my goals and dreams out there for the world to see. That is part of living intentionally for me. Sharing with my readers how I'm feeling, things I'm struggling with as a mother, runner, friend, etc. and goals I have for today, tomorrow and the years to come...this is part of writing my own story and watching it all unfold. Recently I encouraged my readers to create some art and get in touch with their inner artist...to let their guards down and just create...something funny, inspirational, free...whatever. It is crazy to me how many adults just won't try art or let their creative spirit free because they have already determined that they are not "Artists" and they can't do art. They are scared to try. Scared to put themselves out there...I'm working on them. People are slowly coming around. I guess I'll have to keep sending them your way! Thanks for such a great blog here! And Same to Kelly with Sparrow!Amanda@runninghoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16389034066639666578noreply@blogger.com
